Kazakhstan to increase oil exports via BTC pipeline to 138,000 tonnes in MarchKazakhstan plans to increase oil exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline to 138,000 tonnes in March, Islamdaut Akubayev, director of the transportation department at KazTransOil JSC, said.“The March plan for shipments via the BTC pipeline is 138,000 tonnes, compared with 115,000 tonnes in February,” Akubayev said on Tuesday during an online meeting with company management held at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).Kazakhstan previously announced plans to export between 1.5 million and 2.2 million tonnes of oil via the BTC pipeline in 2026. In 2025, exports via the route totaled 1.2 million tonnes.KazTransOil JSC, part of National Company KazMunayGas, owns and operates oil pipelines of over 5,200 km in length. The company also services over 5,000 kilometers of oil pipelines belonging to third parties. (ICE ALMATY)
