DANANTARA OPENS TENDER FOR SECOND BATCH OF WASTE-TO-ENERGY POWER PLANTS

Danantara Indonesia, through PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM), has opened the second wave of registration for companies interested in partnering on Waste‑to‑Energy (WtE) or waste‑to-electricity (PSEL) projects in Indonesia, Tuesday (March 17, 2026). This new round follows the completion of the first‑phase partner selection in Bekasi, Denpasar Raya, Bogor Raya, and Yogyakarta. The initiative aligns with national regulations, including Presidential Regulation No. 109/2025, which supports environmentally friendly urban waste‑to‑energy development. The second‑wave registration aims to expand technological options and attract broader international and domestic investment. Companies that qualify will enter the Verified Provider List (DPT), serving as a pre‑qualification pool for future PSEL project partnerships. Danantara emphasizes that this initiative supports national emergency waste‑management efforts and long‑term sustainable green energy development.Source: https://industri.kontan.co.id/news/danantara-buka-tender-pembangkit-listrik-sampah-gelombang-kedua (ICE GIACARTA)
