Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan up 0.2% in Jan-FebFixed capital investment in Kazakhstan edged up 0.2% year-on-year in January-February 2026, reaching 1.985 trillion tenge, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms reported.Industry received the largest share of investment, accounting for 44.2% of the total, including the extractive sector (17.5%) and manufacturing (14.3%). Other major sectors included real estate transactions (20.8%), transport and warehousing (13.4%) and agriculture, forestry and fisheries (3.5%).Expenditure on machinery, equipment, vehicles and major repairs increased by 48% over the period.Enterprises’ own funds remained the main source of investment, totaling 1.393 trillion tenge. Large enterprises contributed 693.7 billion tenge. State budget funds accounted for 10.6% of total investment, bank loans 7.8%, and other borrowed funds 11.4%, including 4.5% from non-residents.
