The tender for the utilization of the Port of Elefsina is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2026. The project is expected to proceed through a sub-concession agreement, following a development model similar to other recent port privatizations in Greece.Currently, the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (Growthfund) is in the process of appointing financial, legal, and technical advisors to oversee and mature the tender procedures. The initiative aims to modernize the port’s infrastructure and operational capabilities. The development will be guided by comprehensive Master and Business plans, which will outline the necessary capital investments and the timeline for their completion, ensuring the port's commercial upgrade and long-term viability.
