Kazakhstan’s life expectancy to rise to 75.8 years this year – Health MinistryLife expectancy in Kazakhstan is projected to increase from 75.4 to 75.8 years in 2025, Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova said on Tuesday.“This year we expect life expectancy to reach 75.8 years,” Alnazarova said at a government meeting.She noted that since the introduction of mandatory social health insurance, average life expectancy has grown to 75.4 years. According to the World Bank, Kazakhstan leads Central Asian countries in life expectancy.“Reducing mortality remains our main priority. In the first half of this year, the overall mortality rate fell by 3%,” the minister added.Alnazarova said maternal mortality has dropped significantly, from 14.8 to 10.1 cases per 100,000 live births, while infant mortality declined from 7.93 to 6.8 per 1,000 live births.
