Kazakhstan's September oil exports to Germany fall 5%Kazakhstan's oil exports to Germany fell to 180,000 metric tonnes in September, a 5.3% decrease from the previous month, according to the national pipeline company KazTransOil."The volume of Kazakh oil transported via the Druzhba pipeline system to the Adamova Zastava delivery point for supply to Germany totaled 180,000 metric tonnes in September, the company said in a statement.For the first nine months of 2025, total exports to Germany reached 1.457 million tonnes, according to the Interfax calculation based on the released data. The company did not provide precise shipment plans for October.Initial plans from state oil and gas company KazMunayGas called for 1.5 million tonnes of oil to be shipped to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline in 2025, matching the volume exported in 2024. However, subsequent KMG materials indicated a target of 2 million tonnes for the year. More recently, in October, KMG Chairman Ashat Khassenov stated that the planned export volume for 2025 is 1.7 million tonnes. Former Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev had previously stated that shipment volumes could be increased to 2 million tonnes if requested by Germany.Kazakhstan began supplying oil to Germany in 2023 through the Transneft pipeline system.
