Ukraine’s imports of chocolate and cocoa products from Italy continued to rise in the first eight months of 2025, reaching €7.33 million, a 12.16% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Italy maintains its position as the fifth-largest supplier, holding a 6.39% market share.Overall, Ukraine imported €114.72 million worth of chocolate and cocoa products from all countries between January and August 2025, marking an 8.08% increase year-over-year. The leading suppliers remain Poland with €40.69 million (35.47% market share), followed by the Netherlands (12.74%), Germany (10.67%), and Belgium (7.73%).Italy’s steady growth highlights its continued appeal in the Ukrainian confectionery market, driven by quality and consumer preference for European-made products.
