RETAIL LEADERS DRIVE GROWTH: UKRAINE’S TOP CHAINS BOOST REVENUE BY 17% IN H1 2025.

In the first six months of 2025, Ukrainian retailers produced a total of ₴936B ($22M) in revenue (last year – ₴800B ($19M), +17%). If we single out the main players that contributed to the growth of Ukrainian trade, we can see that among the 15 companies whose turnover is among the largest that there are representatives from both food retail and operators in the non-food segment, sellers of clothing, appliances, building materials and other goods. In total, these companies provided ₴369B in turnover (39% of total retail revenue).In particular, the ATB chain of stores stands out among others with an indicator of ₴117B in revenue (+20%). The closest competitor, the Silpo supermarket chain, saw its turnover grow by 16%, to almost ₴50B. However, the Fora chain of stores demonstrated the highest revenue growth rates among grocery retailers (+30%, to ₴20.7B). But the most dynamic performance of the retailers analyzed is Sinsay, which belongs to the Polish LPP group. In half a year, its revenue grew by 55%, to more than ₴7B.
