Andhra Pradesh is set to establish a space city in Tirupati, partnering with Skyroot Aerospace for private satellite launches, with an investment of Rs 400 crore ($45.36 million) .  Additionally, two defence manufacturing hubs will be developed in Madakasira with a total investment of Rs 3,000 crore ($340.2 million). Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu unveiled an ambitious plan for a "Space City" in Tirupati from which private satellites will be launched. The Chief Minister was addressing the International Mediation Conference at the Asian Centre for International Arbitration and Mediation (ACIAM) in Visakhapatnam.
