Kazakhstan can export 2 mln tonnes of grain annually to China - TokayevPresident Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that Kazakhstan can supply up to 2 million tonnes of grain to the Chinese market annually."Kazakhstan has the sixth-largest area of arable land in the world and ranks among the top ten largest grain exporters. Our country annually exports over ten million tonnes of wheat and about two million tonnes of flour. The Chinese market is of great interest to us. Kazakhstan has the resources and potential to export of up to two million tonnes of grain to China annually," Tokayev said at a meeting of the Kazakhstan-China Business Council in Beijing.The president's remarks were quoted by the presidential press service in a Tuesday statement.Tokayev also stressed the importance of building joint processing facilities with China, and invited Chinese companies to cooperate in producing organic and livestock products.
