Kazakhstan aims to export 8-9 million tonnes of grain from 2025 harvestKazakhstan’s Agriculture Ministry forecasts it will export 8 to 9 million tonnes of grain from its 2025 harvest, Deputy Minister Azat Sultanov said Tuesday.The projection is based on an expected harvest of over 20 million tonnes.Sultanov noted that in the previous marketing year, which ended in July, the country exported 12 million tonnes of grain and milling products from its record 2024 harvest. "Based on harvest forecasts, if weather conditions are favorable for farmers, we predict grain exports from the 2025 harvest at approximately 8-9 million tonnes," he said.Kazakh farmers harvested 26.5 million tonnes of grain in 2024, with an average yield of 1.6 metric tonnes per hectare.
