THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) on Monday launched Turismo Asenso Loan Program (TALP) for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT). The loan program aims to help MSMEs expand their operations and create more jobs across tourism-linked industries nationwide. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the ceremonial awarding of the first batch of loans worth P3.38 million to nine tourism-driven MSMEs, as approved by DTI’s financing arm Small Business Corp.
