IT EXPORTS IN JULY ROSE BY $29M, REACHING $555M – NBU
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, Ukrainian exports of IT services in July 2025 surpassed May’s figures by $10M and June’s by $29M, reaching $555M. This amount also exceeds the July 2024 figure of $545M. The highest IT export figure this year was in April at $569M, with the lowest in January at $489M. Over seven months, total IT exports amount to $3.853B, compared to $3.846B last year. Meanwhile, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine reports that the Russian IT market is entering a prolonged crisis: The mass outflow of engineers and a sharp decline in foreign specialists’ inflow are depriving companies of skills and hindering industry growth and manageability. Over the past three years, more than 20,000 IT workers have left the country. Intelligence analysts say companies are forced to “patch holes” with internal resources, often of lower qualification, which directly impacts product quality and the ability to meet deadlines. This personnel gap is compounded by technological isolation: Due to sanctions and export controls, Russia is losing access to modern microelectronics, cloud services, and key development tools.https://ubn.news/after-two-months-of-decline-it-exports-in-july-rose-by-29m/ (ICE KIEV)
