Kazakhstan inflation seen below 10% in 2026, at 6% in 2027-2028 – deputy PMInflation in Kazakhstan is expected to stay below 10% in 2026 and ease to 6% in 2027-2028, First Deputy Prime Minister and National Economy Minister Serik Zhumangarin said Monday.“Inflation in 2026 is expected to be under 10% and decline to 6% in 2027-2028,” Zhumangarin told a government meeting.He previously said inflation in 2026 would range between 8% and 10%. According to him, the National Bank of Kazakhstan may consider easing monetary policy once these targets are met.In early June, the National Bank raised its inflation forecast for the second time this year, projecting 10.5%-12.5% in 2025 and 9.5%-11.5% in 2026.
