Economy of Kazakhstan expected to grow 4.5% annually in 2026-2035 – deputy PMKazakhstan's economy is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.5% over the next ten years under a baseline scenario, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin said on Monday."We have considered three long-term scenarios: baseline, moderate and alternative. The average economic growth over 10 years is forecast at 5.1% in the alternative scenario and 4.3% in the moderate scenario. Under the baseline scenario, the average annual GDP growth over 10 years will be 4.5%," Zhumangarin said at a government meeting while presenting a long-term economic forecast for 2026-2035.Nominal GDP is projected to increase to 473.2 trillion tenge by 2035.State budget revenues are expected to rise to 66.8 trillion tenge in 2035.The guaranteed transfer from the National Fund is set to decrease to 2 trillion tenge starting in 2029, he noted."The budget deficit is set to gradually reduce to 0.4% of GDP by 2029 and reach zero starting from 2030," Zhumangarin said.The net foreign assets of the National Fund are forecast to grow from $60.8 billion in 2026 to $109.9 billion in 2035, he added.
