Kazakhstan’s agricultural output rises 3.7% in first seven months of 2025Kazakhstan’s agricultural production reached 2.443 trillion tenge in January-July 2025, a 3.7% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.Livestock production accounted for 1.956 trillion tenge, up 3.4%, while crop production rose 5% to 454 billion tenge.As of August 1, 2025, the country’s cattle inventory grew by 0.3% to 8.7 million head, horses by 6.7% to 4.602 million head, and poultry by 6.6% to 48.029 million head.Meanwhile, sheep numbers declined by 3.7% to 21.098 million head, goats by 5.3% to 1.896 million head, and pigs by 3.5% to 478,800 head.
