Kazakhstan's industrial production grows 6.9% in Jauary-July 2025Kazakhstan's industrial output reached 34.204 trillion tenge in the first seven months of 2025, marking a 6.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.The extractive sector showed the strongest growth at 8.5%, reaching 15.694 trillion tenge and accounting for 45.9% of total production. Manufacturing output rose by 6.1% to 16.177 trillion tenge, representing 47.3% of the total.The electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply sector grew by 1.8% to 2.053 trillion tenge (6% of total output). However, water supply, waste management and pollution control activities declined by 6.9% to 280.5 billion tenge (0.8% of total production). (ICE ALMATY)
