Kazakhstan's retail trade grew by 6.6% in Jan-JulyKazakhstan's retail trade volume grew by 6.6% year-on-year in January- July 2025, reaching 12.345 trillion tenge, the Bureau of National Statistics reported.The sales growth was led by a 6.7% increase in non-food products, which accounted for 69.2% of total retail turnover. Food sales rose 6.5%, representing 30.8% of the market.Retail inventories stood at 1.606 trillion tenge as of August 1, covering 59 days of trade.Almaty accounted for nearly one-third of national retail sales (32.1%) followed by Astana (13.9%), Karaganda Region (7.1%) and the East Kazakhstan Region (5.6%).
