Brand new Twenty-Nine Palms Entertainment, led by former Amazon MGM exec Edoardo Bussi, has acquired international sales for “Brunello: The Gracious Visionary”, Giuseppe Tornatore’s upcoming documentary. The film traces Brunello Cucinelli’s journey from farmer’s son to creative director and chairman of a $1.5B luxury brand, offering “an intimate portrait of a philosopher-designer celebrated for craftsmanship, humanistic values, and ethical entrepreneurship.” Oscar-winning composer Nicola Piovani (Life Is Beautiful) scores the film, continuing Tornatore’s tradition of collaborating with legendary composers. Bussi calls it “an exceptional opportunity for distribution partners seeking globally resonant, meaningful content.” Produced by Masi Film, the documentary bypasses an Italian festival premiere and will release in Italy via RAI Cinema’s 01 Distribution on December 9, with an international rollout planned for 2026.
