Indonesia’s Foreign Minister Sugiono on Wednesday (20 August) confirmed plans to expand the “Triple Win” programme, under which 329 Indonesian health workers have been dispatched to Germany with monthly salaries of up to IDR 50 million (EUR 2,643). Speaking on the same day in Jakarta, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul underscored the urgency of closer cooperation on the political, economic, and security levels, stressing shared values and commitment to free and rules-based trade, while noting EU–Indonesia CEPA talks could conclude as early as next month.
