Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority ( MMRDA) has awarded Aurionpro the Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems contract worth Rs. 250 Crores for Mumbai Metro’s Line 4 & 4A.  The Line 4 of Mumbai Metro is an under-construction elevated line which spans 32.32 km between Wadala and  Kasarvadavali, featuring 30 stations. In addition, Line 4A serves as the extension of Line 4, covering a distance of 2.7 km from Kasarvadavali to Gaimukh, and includes 2 stationsContract Value: Rs. 250 Crores Brief Scope: The contract includes the design, supply, implementation, and maintenance of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A. The multi-year project will also cover the delivery and implementation of the complete solution, including the central clearing house software (CCHS) and all ticketing and payment hardware, followed by five years of maintenance and support. Shri Sanjay Bali, President & Global Head – Tech Innovation Group (TIG) at Aurionpro, said, “This is a prestigious and special win for us, and we are thankful to MMRDA for placing its trust in Aurionpro.
