The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a new oil discovery following the drilling of three strategic wells for Sonatrach-Sipex.The work was carried out under an Integrated Project Management (IPM) approach, in partnership with a select group of local and international companies.As part of the project, rigs No. 13, 12, and 33 were reactivated and returned to the company’s fleet, a move the NOC says will boost revenues and improve competitiveness in the local market.NOC Chairman highlighted that these strategic partnerships reinforce Sonatrach’s position as a trusted partner in major drilling operations, particularly through the adoption of integrated systems that align with international standards.
