Phú Thọ province is intensifying investment promotion with more proactive, innovative strategies, focusing on both domestic and overseas markets. Key initiatives for the rest of 2025 include producing a multilingual investment documentary, organising business dialogues, and sending delegations to Australia, New Zealand, and other countries to attract high-tech, green technology, semiconductor, and clean energy projects. The province is prioritising on-site promotion, assisting investors from licensing to project implementation, particularly in tourism and services to position Phú Thọ as a prime travel destination. Infrastructure upgrades in industrial parks, transport links, and logistics facilities are planned, alongside improvements in investment promotion staff capacity, IT application, and international cooperation. In 2025, seven overseas promotion missions will target industrial park development projects, including Tam Nông and Hạ Hòa. This year, six delegations have visited key markets such as Korea, Japan, UAE, and China. From January to July 2025, Phú Thọ attracted US$651.7 million in FDI, with 35 new projects and significant capital injections into 45 existing ones. Major developments include housing, urban, and tourism projects. Additionally, 2,701 new enterprises were established, and 964 resumed operations, reflecting a robust recovery and growing investor confidence in the province’s economic prospects.
