The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, approved on Wednesday a financing agreement and memorandum of understanding for €500 million in financial assistance from the European Union. The funding is part of a €3 billion aid package the EU approved earlier this year for 2025–2027, under the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement signed by His Majesty King Abdullah II last January. The package includes €640 million in grants, €1.4 billion in investments, and around €1 billion in macroeconomic support, reflecting the Kingdom’s strategic role and partnership with the EU.
