PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday said he will explore defense, trade and agriculture cooperation with India during his five-day state visit upon the invitation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. “It is with high expectations and much anticipation that I leave for New Delhi upon the very gracious invitation of PM Narendra Modi.... This visit to India will cap a yearlong commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations,” Marcos said during his send-off at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City. “We intend to explore this by charting a plan of cooperation across a broad spectrum of shared interests, from defense to trade, investment, health, pharmaceuticals, connectivity, agriculture, tourism, and many other areas.
