The Kingdom’s exports of clothing, fertilizers, potash, and pharmaceutical products showed growth during the first five months of this year, directly contributing to the overall increase in national exports during this period. According to the Foreign Trade Report issued by the Department of Statistics and reviewed by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), exports of clothing and related accessories rose by 8.8 percent by the end of May 2025, reaching JD 665 million, compared to JD 611 million for the same period last year. National exports of fertilizers increased by 8.5 percent during the same period, totaling JD 394 million, up from JD 363 million the previous year. Exports of crude potash also grew by 4.8 percent, reaching JD 198 million compared to JD 189 million for the corresponding period last year. (ICE AMMAN)
