ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL HELP POLISH EXPORTS

57 per cent of exporters were innovating in 2024 and a third had started to implement robotisation. However, the main element of competition is still price. Despite global uncertainty, Polish foreign trade is doing well. In January-May 2025, exports reached €149.1 billion, 1.6 per cent higher than a year earlier. Imports, on the other hand, increased by 6.7 per cent, reaching €152.2 billion. "The clear improvement in the annual dynamics of exports in May, while maintaining growth in imports, may indicate an improvement in the economic situation of our main trade partners," comments Piotr Seroczyński, chief economist at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. The latter are already buying more from us and are likely to place a large number of orders for implementation in the coming months of the year, which would mean a continuation of the favourable trend.
