POLAND'S INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT GROWTH OVER 25 YEARS AMONG BIGGEST IN EU
Poland has recorded the second biggest increase in industrial production in the whole European Union since 2000, the Eurostat has reported.In a report published on Wednesday, Eurostat estimated that between 2000 and 2024, industrial production across the EU grew by 0.6 percent on average each year.Ireland and Poland were the countries which recorded the highest growth rates (5.6 and 4.9 percent, respectively). The most stable industrial output growth exceeding 4 percent was recorded by Central European countries, which apart from Poland, included Lithuania, Estonia and Slovakia.In the analysed period, Italy and Portugal were found at the other end of the scale, with industrial production falling by 1.1 percent and 0.9 percent, respectively.
