STB INKS MOU WITH INDIGO TO BOOST BUSINESS, LEISURE TRAVEL FROM INDIA TO SINGAPO
[SINGAPORE] The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and India’s biggest airline IndiGo announced a one-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Wednesday (Jul 30). It aims to promote the city-state as a leading leisure and business destination for Indian travellers. The MOU will “further spotlight Singapore’s hidden gems and... drive demand for travel to Singapore from across India”, said both parties. “The partnership also extends beyond business-to-consumer campaigns to include comprehensive trade outreach through roadshows across India, trade training programmes, meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibition perks, and curated familiarisation trips,” they added. Indian travellers ranked third in terms of arrivals in the first half of 2025 with more than 500,000 overnight visitors, based on STB data. This marked a 2.7 per cent increase year on year. https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/singapore/stb-inks-mou-indigo-boost-business-leisure-travel-india-singapore (ICE SINGAPORE)
