The Governor of the Central Bank of Jordan, Adel Al-Sharkas, affirmed that the national economy continues to grow steadily despite geopolitical challenges and complex regional conditions. He projects a 4% growth rate in the medium term, attributing this to a comprehensive reform vision for economic modernization that has transformed the Kingdom’s approach to economic reform. Al-Sharkas explained that this vision, now the guiding framework for all national policies and initiatives, has shifted the reform strategy from a reactive, remedial approach to a proactive and comprehensive one. This aims to strengthen the resilience of the national economy and its capacity to effectively address challenges, thereby promoting sustainable growth and safeguarding economic achievements. His remarks were made during a dialogue session organized by the Jordan Strategy Forum titled “Reform, Stability, and Resilience: The National Economy Trilogy in a Changing World.” (ICE AMMAN)
