Turkish investors to build grain processing, fertilizer production complexes in KazakhstanInvestors from Turkey will build complexes for deep grain processing and for the production of fertilizers and pesticides in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Kazakh government reported.According to the press service, at a meeting of the Investment Attraction Council held in the government on Thursday, the main terms of agreements with Turkish companies for two projects were approved.The first project involves the construction of a deep grain processing complex with the participation of the Turkish company Tiryaki Agro. The planned production capacity is 250,000 tonnes of processed wheat and 80,000 tonnes of peas per year. The total investment volume is 160 billion tenge.The second project involves the construction of an agrochemical complex for the production of fertilizers and pesticides with the participation of the Turkish company YDA Group. The production capacity will be 150,000 tonnes per year, with an investment volume of 168 billion tenge.Turkish Tiryaki Agro is engaged in the processing and sale of agricultural products such as legumes, grains, nuts, oilseeds, as well as the production of animal feed. The company operates in 11 countries, sources products in over 40, and sells in over 50.Turkish YDA Group implements projects in various sectors, including construction, healthcare, defense, and the aerospace industry.
