INDONESIA’S OIL LIFTING HITS 95% OF TARGET
Indonesia’s oil lifting reached 578,000 barrels per day in the first half of 2025—about 95.5% of its annual target—according to the country’s upstream oil and gas regulator, SKK Migas. June's oil production hit 579,300 barrels per day, slightly above the lifting figure due to storage and batch shipment practices. Increased output from the Forel (ONWJ), Terubuk, and Banyu Urip fields contributed to the rise, with authorities optimistic about meeting the 605,000-barrel-per-day goal by year-end. Gas production was even more robust, reaching 6,820 MMSCFD in June 2025—well above the 5,628 MMSCFD target—though distribution lagged slightly due to flaring and impurities. Overall, total oil and gas output stood at 1.797 million BOEPD, exceeding the annual target by 111.6%, while lifting reached 96.7% of its goal. SKK Migas expects full target realization by the end of 2025.Source: https://jakartaglobe.id/business/indonesias-oil-lifting-hits-95-of-target (ICE GIACARTA)
