International Grains Council maintains Kazakhstan’s wheat export outlook this marketing year at 9.9 mln tonnesThe International Grains Council (IGC) has kept its forecast for Kazakhstan’s wheat exports in the current agricultural year (July 2025 to June 2026) unchanged at 9.9 million tonnes, according to its July report.However, the IGC raised its estimate for Kazakhstan’s wheat production to 15 million tonnes from 14.5 million tonnes.The outlook for total grain exports was also revised upward to 11.9 million tonnes, compared to the previous forecast of 11.4 million tonnes.Globally, the IGC expects total grain production to reach 2.376 billion tonnes this agricultural year vs. 2.377 billion tonnes according to the June outlook. This will include 808.3 million tonnes of wheat vs. the earlier outlook of 807.9 million tonnes. (ICE ALMATY)
