Early crediting of farmers in Kazakhstan to become standard practice - Agriculture MinisterThe practice of early preferential financing for Kazakh farmers, where loans are issued long before the planting season, is to be established as standard practice, stated Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov.Speaking on Thursday at the opening of the Jana Dala / Green Day 2025 agricultural exhibition in the Akmola region, the Agriculture Minister emphasized that new farmer support tools were presented at this exhibition last year: preferential financing for spring fieldwork, leasing, loan guarantees, and the expansion of credit channels."As early as November 2024, we began accepting applications for financing the 2025 planting campaign. We plan to establish the practice of early crediting as a standard procedure," said Saparov.As reported, preferential financing for Kazakh farmers amounted to 700 billion tenge in 2025. For the first time, the government changed the planting season financing mechanism – preferential loans to farmers began to be issued starting in December 2024, rather than in spring during planting as before.
