JORDAN: TOURISM REVENUES RISE

Tourism revenues in Jordan increased by 11.9 percent during the first half of 2025, reaching $3.667 billion, despite a 3.7 percent decline in June to $619.2 million, due to geopolitical tensions in the region. Central Bank data showed a 42.9 percent increase in tourism revenues from Asian nationalities, 35.6 percent from Europeans, 25.8 percent from Americans, 11.5 percent from Arab countries, and 43.0 percent from other nationalities. In contrast, tourism revenues from Jordanian expatriates saw a slight decline of 0.8 percent. (ICE AMMAN)
