AI-powered digital transport model for Astana to be developed by year-endAstana plans to introduce an artificial intelligence-based digital transport model by the end of this year, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov announced Thursday."The electronic transport model of Astana will help optimize transport decisions by analyzing big data and predicting traffic. The new model is expected to be developed by the end of this year," Bektenov in his reply to a parliamentary inquiry, which was published on the website of the Majliis, the lower chamber of parliament.The project is financed through a grant from the Eurasian Development Bank, the prime minister said.Astana’s roads currently handle between 550,000 and 600,000 vehicles daily, according to Bektenov.The city’s population numbers over 1.4 million people.
