The potential is enormous, totaling 76 billion tonnes of oil equivalent across all 15 basins," Khasenov said at the Oil Summit in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, on Friday.He also noted ongoing cooperation with Tatneft in drilling a deep well reaching 5,500 meters in the Caspian Basin, one of the surveyed areas.
