HCMC – Vietnam has mobilized over US$7 billion for clean energy projects under the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) as part of its 2050 net-zero goal, announced during a meeting with international partners and financial institutions. Three major projects have secured financing: a €67 million transmission line, a €480 million pumped-storage hydropower project (Bac Ai), and a €65 million loan for the Tri An hydropower expansion. Negotiations continue on four more projects, while 17 additional proposals worth US$5.52 billion meet JETP criteria.
