Khánh Hòa Province is actively inviting strategic and financially capable investors to the Vân Phong Economic Zone (EZ), aiming to transform it into a key national economic driver. Covering 150,000 hectares and divided into 19 subzones, Vân Phong EZ has attracted 155 projects with a total registered capital of US$5.4 billion, of which 106 are operational. In H1 2025 alone, six new projects were licensed, worth over VNĐ3 trillion. Notable contributors include Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding, which plans to exceed US$700 million in revenue this year. The zone is also preparing for major urban developments and industrial parks proposed by leading developers like Becamex and Sonadezi. Local authorities are committed to facilitating investments through tax and land incentives, special support groups, and improved land clearance mechanisms. Priority sectors include seaports, logistics, industry, and tourism, with Khánh Hòa aiming to position Vân Phong among the country’s top three economic zones. (ICE HO CHI MINH CITY)
