Jordan has invited bids from consultancy companies to advise on gas projects that will be executed within its 2025-2035 strategic energy plan. The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said on its website at the weekend that consultancy services cover funding options, assessment of domestic demand, distribution mechanisms and utilisation of gas from its largest field. Jordan has embarked on major projects to expand its gas facilities to face a steady rise in domestic consumption as a result of higher industrial output and electricity demand. (ICE AMMAN)
