Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono announced that Indonesia's fisheries production grew 2% in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 5.58 million tons by March 30. Furthermore, marine and fishery product exports saw a 6.5% increase in value and a 2.3% rise in volume during Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024. The Ministry's non-tax state revenue (PNBP) also climbed 13% as of June 2025, reaching IDR 975.74 billion (US$60 million), up from IDR 861.76 billion (US$53 million) in June 2024. (ICE GIACARTA)
