Vietnamese tech firms, including FPT and MobiFone, are actively supporting the rollout of the two-tier local governance model, which took effect on July 1, 2025. In Quảng Ninh Province, nearly 80 FPT staff were deployed to five wards and communes to assist with early implementation. FPT worked with local authorities to develop a digitisation system, real-time queue management, and an advanced processing platform integrating e-ID wallets and cross-jurisdictional services. These innovations aim to streamline administrative procedures, enhance efficiency, and improve service transparency. Meanwhile, MobiFone launched its administrative processing platform in Hà Nội and Thái Nguyên, supporting the new governance model. Their systems reduce manual workloads, improve data coordination, and align with Resolution 57-NQ/TW, which promotes science, technology, and digital transformation.
