On Tuesday, 17 June, the Government adopted a package of regulations on the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF), which is to come into effect from 1 February 2026. It includes draft amendments to the VAT Act and its earlier amendments, two implementing regulations, as well as a template of notification of granting or withdrawing the rights to use the KSeF. The Council of Ministers assures that KSeF will bring many benefits to businesses, primarily faster VAT refunds as a basic deadline will be shortened from 60 to 40 days. First, the new rules will have to be implemented by the largest companies. Two months later, this duty is to be taken by smaller businesses.
