Hitachi Energy is to open a new factory in Łódź town in July 2025. The investment will cost about PLN62 million and will create 100 new jobs. In Łódź, Hitachi Energy has its own campus that produces and supplies transformer components for a number of Hitachi factories spread around the world. It consists of four production halls and two engineering centers. In total, they employ more than 2,000 people. In the new factory, will be produced insulation components for transformers.
