Dubai Metro Blue Line Summary (June 2025): Dubai has begun construction on the 30km Metro Blue Line, set to open in 2029, featuring 14 stations and serving over 1 million residents across 9 districts. The line includes the world’s tallest metro station (74m) at Dubai Creek Harbour, designed by SOM and named after Emaar. It will boost total metro length to 131km with 168 trains. Daily ridership is expected to reach 320,000 by 2040.
