POLES WILL NOT SAVE ON SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Polish consumers are ready to postpone the previously planned large purchases and cut back on everyday spending in order to go on vacation in the summer. Although they spend money cautiously on a daily basis, their vacation budgets are growing rapidly. The average budget Poles plan to spend on a summer trip is PLN6431.32 (EUR1,514) per household, an impressive increase in planned spending of more than 20 percent compared to 2024. As the “International Travel Confidence Index 2025” survey commissioned by Allianz Partners showed, as many as three-quarters (78 percent) of Poles plan to travel between June and September. More than half of Poles (58 percent), say they will spend their vacation in the country, at the seaside (32 percent) and in the mountains (22 percent). One third of Poles (35 percent) will go abroad.
