E-CONSUMERS GO FOR THE SIMPLEST AND THE QUICKEST METHODS OF PAYMENT

A report “E-commerce in Poland 2024” by IAB Poland shows that the percentage of Polish Internet users who buy online has remained similar to that of a year ago. It is currently 78 percent, with more respondents than in the previous wave of the survey, 36 percent, using foreign sites. According to the report, the most popular form of payment for e-shopping in Poland is Blik (68 percent), followed by quick transfers (64 percent) and credit cards (43 percent). Experts point out that these results show that consumers are increasingly paying via smartphone. They are also more willing to choose options that reduce the need to log in or enter data. Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payments are also gaining popularity. (ICE VARSAVIA)
