BARAKA AND KERTEN LAUNCH LANDMARK LIFESTYLE PROJECT IN JEDDAH’S AL SALAM DISTRIC
Baraka for Real Estate Development and Investment Company has joined forces with global lifestyle hospitality operator Kerten Hospitality to launch The House Residence Al Salam District in Jeddah. The official signing took place during the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) Riyadh 2025, marking a key milestone for both companies. Spanning 45,000 square metres, the mixed-use development is set to become a landmark community in Jeddah’s Al Salam District, blending residential, cultural, and lifestyle elements in a walkable, human-centric environment. The House Residence Al Salam District will feature a curated mix of 38 one-bedroom apartments, 58 two-bedroom apartments, and 17 three-bedroom villas, offering residents a modern living experience infused with local heritage and cultural depth. “At Baraka, our purpose is to shape urban spaces that are deeply human—where design meets purpose, and where community and culture define the experience,” said Ebrahim Alqassab, Projects Director at Baraka. “Al Salam District is not just a development; it is a statement of our belief in building vibrant, sustainable environments. The House Residence is a key expression of this vision.” The development reflects a strong alignment between Baraka and Kerten Hospitality, both of which prioritise placemaking, authenticity, and lifestyle integration. Designed to foster a deep sense of belonging, the Al Salam District will also include home-grown F&B concepts, wellness and beauty spaces, co-working hubs, and curated retail outlets, along with walkable public realms designed to encourage meaningful social interaction. “Our collaboration with Baraka reflects a powerful synergy rooted in shared values and a forward-thinking approach to hospitality,” said Marloes Knippenberg, CEO of Kerten Hospitality. “The House Residence Al Salam District is more than just a residential offering—it’s a living ecosystem that connects people through culture, creativity, and community engagement.” With a design approach rooted in local culture and sustainable urban planning, The House Residence Al Salam District supports the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in promoting diversified, liveable cities that attract both residents and investors.
