Petrovietnam surpassed key production targets in the first four months of 2025, achieving crude oil output of 3.16 million tonnes (12.8% above plan), gas production of 1.98 billion cubic metres (+10.4%), and electricity generation of 11.06 billion kWh (+9.9%). Fertiliser and refined fuel output also exceeded targets by 19.5% and 12.7%, respectively. The group posted VNĐ323.3 trillion (US$12.4 billion) in revenue and contributed VNĐ45.6 trillion to the State budget. A major milestone was the early completion of Phase 3 of the Đại Hùng oilfield. Looking ahead, Petrovietnam plans to commission one new facility monthly and expand internationally through deals with Kazakhstan and Petronas. Domestically, it is enhancing cooperation with top firms like Viettel and Hòa Phát in line with Resolution 68. The Nhơn Trạch 3 LNG power plant is near readiness, and PV GAS is planning U.S. LNG imports.
