Indonesia’s state-owned oil company Pertamina has issued five tenders to import nearly 3 million barrels of gasoline per month for delivery between July and December 2025. The tenders include 1.6 million barrels of 90-octane fuel and 1.2 million barrels of 92-octane fuel monthly. Notably, two of the tenders exclude Singapore as a source, signaling a possible strategic shift in import preferences. This move comes amid Indonesia's broader efforts to increase fuel imports from the United States, potentially linked to ongoing negotiations over high U.S. tariffs. Offers for the tenders remain open until May 30. In addition, Pertamina is seeking to cancel or delay 1 million barrels of gasoline scheduled for June delivery under a term contract, though seller responses remain unclear.
